La Última Visita (The Last Visit)

In April 1987, Pope John Paul II visited the country of Chile in his second Latin America trip. Here, he arranged a short meeting with President – and military dictator – Augusto Pinochet. What was supposed to be a 10 minute conversation ended up being over an hour behind closed doors, with both leaders agreeing that this should be the last time they talked. Two men in power with different intentions: is there any similitude and way for them to connect?

El Fin de Mí (By the Shore)

In a not too distant future, a small Island has sunken under the Sea, except for the tallest mountain top. Gabriela Cintrón, a young 25yo woman, has committed herself to dying on the Island in the hopes of being granted eternal rest with her loved ones and culture. But, when the spirits of her life on the Island come back for her, how does she find closure and understanding of the circumstances she's had to live through?

Irene and Her Friends

Cuban–American playwright María Irene Fornés is preparing for a trip back home to Cuba with her friend. The problem is, she doesn't remember who her friend is, nor that she already went. Her characters – Fefu, Mae, Sarita, Leticia, and Nena– are there to help, looking to prevent from leaving and understand.why she wrote them. As they learn to care for Irene and deal with her dementia, they see the beauty in theater–making and in her creative mind.

Elogio de una pintura (Eulogy of a Painting)

Dante is a young man from modern time who suddenly finds himself immersed in a time and place he doesn't recognize, that of Francisco Oller's iconic painting: El Velorio (which translates to The Wake). With the help of Toñi, a young boy full of life, and the rest of the community, Dante will journey to discover the importance of his history and culture, while striving to return home.

Alerta AMBER (AMBER Alert)

The usual routine for middle–class Puerto Rican Rodríguez Tío family is shaken up when their 16 year old daughter, Andrea, cannot be found. The parents work with their two boys to recount the steps of the previous day and see if anyone else has seen her, while not alerting them, or reading into it. As more questions pile up, the Rodríguez Tío is forced to answer one more: Should they report and AMBER Alert?
